MLB Comics

Baseball is by far my favorite sport and I am always trying to find other ways to flex my design skills, usually in ways revolving around baseball. As you can see in my other personal projects, I have found different ways to highlight baseball but an idea that came to me out of nowhere was to do MLB comics. I’ve always been fascinated by comic strips and the detail that goes into something like a Marvel comic book so I decided to try my hand at a digital comic strip about baseball. The 2020 MLB playoffs were in full swing when I had this idea so I tried a couple of comics recapping series clinching games. I was so happy with the results that I decided to create another comic a year later when the Atlanta Braves won the World Series. I had a blast thinking through the story boards and creating the comics which turned out better than I had imagined they ever would.
